01 / PLAYING GUIDE & OPTIONAL MIDI

Sound starts off. Enable local preview, then play the 4×4 keyboard map: 1 2 3 4 / Q W E R / A S D F / Z X C V. Focus a pad and hold Space or Enter. Trigger plays generated drum one-shots; Piano holds triangle + sine notes. Pointer position sets velocity. Sequence pads arm sixteen steps; Play runs a sixteenth-note clock. Record captures pad events into the current step pattern in local memory, not microphone audio. Refresh clears all scenes.

Encoders: drag up, Arrow keys, Page Up/Down, Home/End; double-click resets. Selected-pad mode shapes that pad’s level, tone and decay; tempo remains global. The large dial controls master volume. Strip switches volume / pitch bend. Scene changes stop and reset transport. Undo/redo applies to sequence edits. Auto Set adds a demo; Library switches generated kits; Favorite stores/restores the selected kit. Scene Size cycles 4, 8, 16 steps. Note Repeat retriggers held pads at sixteenths. Stop, Panic or Escape silences notes; leaving the page also closes audio and stops MIDI notes.

MIDI not connected. Optional output only; local preview needs no hardware.

No remote assets, libraries, microphone capture or hardware firmware. MIDI permission is requested only by Connect; no output is selected automatically. Explicit output receives note-on/off and CC 7 volume, CC 74 tone, CC 72 decay. This independent study does not claim tested hardware integration.
